Thoughts of life and living
I was rewinding my thoughts of how our life has shaped over the period of generations . I discovered that the most baffling development in our time in history, according to me, is that we've learnt how to make a living, but not a life.
Looking into all that we bought we multiplied our assets but in this craze, we subtracted our values. Mankind has done leaps and bounds , and we reached to moon and space but why do we still have trouble to carve out an hour to meet our friend in person instead of connecting in social media .These are the times of big men and small character; lofty careers but artificial relationships; fancier houses but broken homes; high intelligence quotient but perhaps no emotional quotient.
These are the days of quick trips, lesser morality, speedy hook-ups and speedier break-ups. It is a time when there is so much in the showroom window but nothing in our inner godowns!!
Always remember to spend time with your loved ones, the people who inspire you, the people whom you idolize, because they are not going to be around forever, or else, it might so happen that one fine morning you may wake up realizing that you lost the moon while counting the stars!!
At times be little generous to say a kind word to someone who looks up to you and who communicates with you because that person might leave your side one day.
Remember to give a warm hug to the one next to you (I know most of us tend to do so only when there's a handsome or a beautiful member of the opposite gender or our crush in our vicinity) because that's the only treasure you can give to anybody to uplift the spirit and to encourage, and it doesn't cost even a penny.
An embrace or kind words or gestures to help someone will surely mend hurt and motivate if those kind acts come from deep inside of you!!
And last but not the least, make time to appreciate others, make time to express gratitude, pamper your friends to the maximum , avoid to speak low of anybody or their character ( whoever it is , it is their life and we are not entitled to speak ,as we are not saints either) and make time to speak , to share the precious thoughts in your mind with people!!
Do all acts that can create happiness and smiles in people as we are here for a limited time in this planet
