VSV REUNION AFTER 26 YEARS -20 MAY 2016-A DAY
20th May 2016, Bangalore … Golden Palm Resort , A place that repeated the history of bringing back alive the VSV 89 in a Grand Reunion which was resplendent , energetic and high voltage where 58 boys and girls transformed the entire resort to the place( sunabeda) where our childhood was formed .Each class friend arrival to the hotel (where the climate was just same as we were in our child hood ) was like a carnival in itself and in moments we had lost ourselves into the past and before we realised we were already in the era of 1980’s . The child , the teenage in us was back as we unleashed all our tantrums .. Each minute was treated as value of Gold and we ensured that every moment has to be enjoyed to the maximum . We had a super organising committee who probably executed the entire program in a precision that several event management companies would like to pick a page from their book ( To add on the Gods ensured that the climate for those two days was identical to the one we lived in childhood) .
Boys and Girls mingled in a transcendental mind where each of our eyes sparked with love and affection for each other in a manner we were in our childhood . A nostalgic movie of the past clips of the place we lived with our friends and creating a song for it bought us tears of memories the days we lived as each scene unfolded each page of the book of our lives . We treated our ladies as super beauties of the world ( and they are indeed ) as they were happy to bring on a saree show and we boys were brimming in pride to see our ladies extravagant in this show and their confidence on us . The lavish dinners , the drinks flowing 24 hrs and the revival of all the child hood games like antakshari ( song sequences with the last letter of a song) , Dumb Sharaz( enacting and expressing a word which the team mate should understand) just made sure that we are in the 1980s . A few hours spent on hearing each of us on how the last 26-30 years went bought about refreshing information of all of us
At the end of 48 hours we came back to this mundane world as we began to pack our bags with heavy heart ,we were in tears and emotions filled as we hugged each of us and that moment I learnt a lesson – Life is how we want to treat , the mental age is something we need to perceive how we want to think what we are … and friends – they are the angels of this world we thrive in..
I was blessed to see heaven along with my angels and get back to this world . Its true that people become really younger when we taste the food of heaven along with God and Angels .. Two days of life spent there and back has made me that …!!!
Returning to Earth , hangover yet to go, Emotions still high . Tears still on the eyes and a resolve and determination that we bond and consolidate this reunion to reunite forever in life and ensure several future visits to heaven
